Course Overview

Our Graphic Design course is designed to take students from absolute beginners to confident creators, starting with simple tools like Canva and gradually introducing essential features in Photoshop. The course covers both the theory and practice of design, with weekly lessons that build skills step by step.

Students will learn how to:

1. Understand the basics of design principles (colors, fonts, layouts, balance).
2. Create engaging designs for real-world needs such as posters, social media graphics, and flyers.
3. Explore branding concepts like logos and visual identity.
4. Practice hands-on projects using Canva and Photoshop to strengthen creativity.
5. Solve weekly tasks that help them apply what they’ve learned.

Each week includes:

1. Complete Notes – clear explanations of the topic.
2. Quick Notes – a summary for revision.
3. Tasks – practical assignments to apply learning.
4. Questions – to test understanding and prepare for assessments.

By the end of the first term, students will be able to confidently design attractive and functional graphics, laying the foundation to progress from beginner to pro designer in future terms.
